Hydrogen inhalation involves the patients breathing in hydrogen gas, through a nasal cannula. This method delivers a higher concentration of hydrogen directly into the bloodstream through the lungs.

Oxy-hydrogen gas is a gaseous mixture of molecular hydrogen and molecular oxygen that is generated by the electrolysis of water and delivered in a ratio of 2:1 with a maximum flow rate of 900ml per minute.
